What does THAMPICO actually do?
THAMPICO helps energy organizations govern, manage, and execute capital projects. That means building PMOs, implementing and configuring project management software, and providing ongoing program management support through the life of a project.
What is a PMIS, and why does THAMPICO focus on it?
A Project Management Information System (PMIS), such as Procore or Projectmates, is the software an organization uses to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and documentation. Most organizations underuse the platform they've already paid for. THAMPICO's team has direct implementation and administration experience, not just advisory familiarity, with these systems.
Does THAMPICO only work with electric and gas utilities?
No. Electric and natural gas utilities are the core client base, but the same program management and PMIS work applies to RNG and LNG developers and, more recently, data center developers scaling multi-site capital portfolios.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It depends on the scope. A PMIS Audit is a fixed two-week engagement. Embedded PMO and program management work is typically structured as an ongoing retainer that runs for the duration of a capital program, which has run multiple years on past engagements.
